“The reason why people have stigma against mental illness is due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of the subject.
People should seek to be educated of it rather than be afraid of it.
With knowledge there comes empowerment.
I see the ability to seek professional help when required as an act of courage, where the individual takes action in being responsible for their health and their lives. It is something admirable. “
